1890's Wicker Coffin, Casket, Death, Funeral, Cemetery

Y'all, this is my favorite item yet!!! The description for this "1890's Wicker Coffin, Casket, Death, Funeral, Cemetery" (?) states that this, um, thing, was used to transport bodies from a person's place of death to the funeral home. And if that alone didn't convince you to buy it now (at $650, no less), how about all these suggested uses:

-Coffee table
-Linen and blanket storage
-Display item

Ummmm okay. Back up. You say that this used to carry dead people, and now you are suggesting that it would make a good place to store my sheets and blankets? EW. The end.

This seller hopes you'll enjoy her bed as much as she did.

Welcome!

Welcome to Treasures of eBay! The idea for our little blog came when my husband returned from deployment, had a few free months before grad school started up again, and developed a penchant for spending long hours searching for antique furniture on eBay. In between finding some great pieces he hoped to add to our home, he discovered all sorts of amusing photographs people use with which to advertise their wares. And thus ... Treasures of eBay was born!
